Notes
- I wasn't expecting much from Ghost after watching a few videos of them, but, I was pleasantly surprised.
I much enjoyed their performance and wouldn't mind seeing them either open for Opeth in the future or as
a headline act. They have a particular stage presence that fits very well with the music. Good stuff
overall!
- First time trying out a new mic placement technique which I'm rather pleased with so far. I'd like to try it
out at better sounding venues before passing judgement, though. Looks (and sounds!) good so far.
- Throughout the entire show the crowd in my section were rather calm and respectful. I also had a buffer
on either side of me, though there is a bit of clapping to the right during both Opeth's and Mastodon's
sets. Good view, good placement, good show, good crowd. What else can a taper ask for to make a pull?
