Recording Comments:
Firstly, I want to thank fellow taper and DIME user 'ChickenWing8' and would encourage others to do so as well, as he is the only reason why this recording exists. He is responsible for contacting me about recording this Halestorm show, as well as the one two days prior on July 15th in Waterloo, IA. He paid for the ticket and gas money, so a big thanks to him! We were unable to purchase Tier I tickets (sold out), so I was in Tier II roughly 75 feet back, dead center. Given the distance away from the stage in an outdoor venue, the recording turned out much better than expected. As provided in the editing notes, I did some treble boost and EQ, as well as had to do numerous volume spot adjustments, thanks to the obnoxiously loud, screaming women directly behind me. I would've moved, but this place was surprisingly jam packed and I decided not to risk it. Unfortunately, I was not able to record Shinedown. The pictures included with this were taken with my Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge at 12 megapixels.
Recording "Proof" Comments:
On track 02, "Love Bites (So Do I)" at 4:57-4:59, Lzzy Hale says, "Ahh Sioux City, we are Halestorm!" There are numerous other mentions throughout the recording as well.
