I´m going through my MF and KD-gigs, redoing what needs to be redone.
This one is often labeled 1982-09-26 which is impossible. This is discernible by looking at two facts:
1. Return of the vampire was not played live after the spring-gigs 1982, and definitely not in september (you´ll see I´m right when i post the Holland 1982-gigs).
2. The songarrangements differ very much depending during which period they were played. The ones at this gig matches those present on the Taastrup 810906 and Herlev 811031-gigs, and are at various points totally different from the arrangements played during the Holland-gigs in september 1982. Also, the inbetween-song-banter is more or less the same as the other 1981-gigs, but very different from the late 1982-gigs.
A friend of mine was at this gig. Girlschool headlined, but one of their members was electrocuted on stage after the first song, so they couldn´t continue. My friend paid 30 danish crowns to get in (approx. 3EUR or 4$), saw Mercyful´s set, saw the Girlschool-set, then got the money back when leaving the gig. How´s THAT for a treat?
