Hi
Question for you all MetallicA fans. Do you all think LiveMetallica.com will release a copy if it was recorded from WoodStock1994,1999?? Also does anyone have Westwood One Radio Show from MetallicA WoodStock 1999 if they did broadcast it on an episode of Absolutely Live In Concert ?
Thanks
James

Regarding your first question, no. If they are gonna release it in some way, it's probably gonna be in some box set reissue.

Re: Re: MetallicA WoodStock 1994,1999 question
'Bellz' made it to the Woodstock '94 official CD compilation and, I think 'Creep' made it to the Woodstock '99 official compilation CD and 'Seek' from Woodstock '99 surfaced on some WCW Mayhem: The Music compilation. IMHO plenty of evidence to suggest the complete recordings are sitting in the Metalli-Vault.
We have some great '94 and '99 shows that are not Woodstock available on LM already, not to mention both Woodstock '94 and '99 have been bootlegged to shit both audio and video-wise.
Not sure how much an official release through LM.com can add to that (apart from marginally better quality) After all they wanna sell downloads, from a business point of view. Makes little sense to release something that is already out there in very decent to good quality, not with the mountain of other good stuff they must be sitting on in terms of cool shows/recordings and such.

Re: Re: MetallicA WoodStock 1994,1999 question
The quality difference between the three tracks that have been officially released vs. the bootlegs is substantial. Having been to the live event- I would love to to see Metallica's Woodstock 1994 + 1999 shows remastered, bundled, and offered for sale.
