DVD Metallica MetOnTour 2004-2015

Is there in this forum someone who has made or will made some DVD's of the MetOnTour' vids since 2004 to 2015 ?

Forgive my ignorance, as I never collected these videos or really ever watched them - but are they the same as is listed on Metallica's site (below):

https://metallica.com/media/videos/tour ... our-videos *For example, this is from 2004, and you can find all of the subsequent years.

You can then simply use a video grabbing program to save/download them to your computer, yes?
Or are the ones on the website a much lower quality than what you are looking for, or an incomplete set?

Not exactly sure. Here on this site JITF there are threads for the entire 2013 and 2014 club videos (the links are still active unlike all the prior years 2003-2012). They are of VERY high HD quality. I have no idea what the source is for them (hopefully someone here with the knowledge can pass that along). It would seem unlikely that they would come from youtube though as when you save and download from youtube the quality really takes a drastic hit. I wish I knew more about the videos.

Just by looking at the page you provided for me it seems the videos prior to 2012 are of much lesser quality. So I guess I would not be interested in those. I'm going to have a friend look at the 2012 vids and maybe he could tell me exactly how crisp and clear they would look if burned to disc. Thanks a lot for getting me to a page that looks promising!

My friend checked out the videos from the link you sent me. He said they are not nearly as high quality as the 2013-2014 vids posted here on this board. Those were original HD mp4 files he said, and the ones on the link you sent were from youtube and of lesser quality.

He also said the vids on the link you sent were copy protected and couldn't be downloaded anyway.
