I filmed this (not my best work) and gave a copy to a friend who sent it to Unforgiven on the condition that he not trade it until I got an authored copy with the LiveMet audio. Well I never got a copy and it was still traded. I only have the original SA discs off my master. It would be nice to finally get a copy since I filmed it. Can someone help? Again, not my best work. That is why I sat on it for a few years.

I'll upload it for you tomorrow. What other shows have you taped?

Thanks Mike! I've waited a long time for that version.
The only other Metallica show was KC 2004. Another dud. Tough tour to film because of the lights. Phoenix I had row 2 balcony seats and thought I would have an easy time. Who would stand in row 1 of the balcony? Well they did and we squeezed a friend in our row so I had to stand for that one making it tough to zoom and keep steady. KC I was up way too high. I couldn't see jack in my viewfinder. I pretty much gave up at that gig until they played a song (can't remember) I really liked toward the end. I've obtained a couple shows from that tour and noticed other good filmers had some problems too.
I was all set to film them last time they played my hometown in Omaha but got sick. I heard it would have been easy because it didn't sell out. I will try and get Newton next week but I've been to that venue before and the seats are a mile away from the stage. So I'm not expecting much. It will be distant. I just hope I can keep it steady without obstructions. I'm more of an arena filmer. I've done tons of other bands. I pretty much got everyone I wanted except GNR. I can still get them in Minneapolis but don't have the cash. Tickets, hotel, gas..........not worth it. I prefer Slash with Myles Kennedy anyway and got them opening for Ozzy.
