The only way to really find out is to check the LiveMet audio that was synced to the video. I don't have it but if Creeping Death was played it will be on there. I remember that night pretty good and I wouldn't have just stopped recording for no reason. A tape change doesn't take that long. Kind of strange that song would be right at the end of disc 1 or the beginning of disc 2. The only tape change I can remember was during Master Of Puppets. If you watch the video, you can see the cut isn't that long. My masters are in 3 boxes in no order, so before I go digging for that show, can you check the audio to see if Creeping Death is on there and get back to me? If it is on the audio, I will dig out the master tapes and see if it is on there and I didn't include it in the transfer for some reason. That's the only 2 things I can think of. 1 either it wasn't played or 2 I didn't include it when I did the transfer for some unknown reason. I did film Godsmack that night so maybe I started filming Metallica on that tape making it 3 master tapes. I can't remember. I just don't want to dig for the masters for no reason. Setlist.fm isn't always accurate so LiveMet audio is the best source.

They did play Creep between Sad and Battery therefore it's on the livemet recording.

I'll keep you updated. I'm working on Newton now. When I put those masters away I'll look for Phoenix.

I just checked the master tapes and Creeping Death is definitely missing. I can't figure out why. I had plenty of tape left to fit it on the first tape and it is not at the beginning of 2. A mystery.
