Does anybody have the official mix of the 02.22.1989 performance of One, from the first DVD of the Justice box set?
I know there's an SBD rip of it in Karl's lossy thread, but it's encoded at 256kbps, and clips pretty badly at times.
If anybody has the audio ripped directly from the DVD (preferably in whatever native audio format the disc was encoded in), I'd greatly appreciate your help.

Yes, but it only makes sense to do so if the audio on the DVD is lossless, which is usually not the case.

While most DVD-Video discs have lossy audio (usually in Dolby's AC-3 format)— allowing for higher-quality video and/or bonus features— some DVD-V discs feature a PCM audio track instead of (or accompanying) a lossy audio track; the latter discs almost always have a considerably shorter runtime as a result, though.
Additionally, there are a few official formats that mainly utilize lossless audio; off the top of my head, DVD-Audio discs often contain high-res audio (usually 24-bit/96kHz or higher), at the cost of having next-to-no video content. [Fun fact: Metallica re-released the Black Album as a DVD-A back in 2001!]

Now, with all that out of the way: yes. If a DVD has lossless audio, you can rip it from the disc, same as with lossy stuff.

In case you're wondering, the reason I've been looking for a direct rip of the audio is because it's very likely that the MP3 from the lossy thread was re-encoded from an already-lossy format (probably 48 kHz/256kbps AC-3) into another lossy format (44.1 kHz/256kbps MP3), the process of which degrades the quality of the audio even further than a mere lossless-to-lossy conversion.

Because it's a very good performance of "One", I've been contemplating using it for a mixed (studio/live) compilation that I've been working on periodically for a few months now-- but because the version I have of it is a low-bitrate MP3, it clashes pretty badly with everything else I've compiled so far (which is all in lossless).

By the way: here's a quick, visual example of that degrading process I talked about earlier.

Now, having said all of that... maybe I should have just asked for an ISO of the DVD itself (the "...And Camcorders for All" disc). Whoops. Probably should have thought about that first.

I ripped the audio from the VOB you sent me. Now, because I didn’t take a screenshot of the audio’s spectrum (because I was an idiot then, and I can’t check it anymore for a while— and I’ll tell you why in a bit!), I’ll describe to you what I saw.

My suspicions were correct: the audio was originally encoded was 48kHz AC-3. I’m now 99% sure that the MP3 in Karl’s lossy thread was sourced from the DVD, because this is basically the same file as that, except this one is slightly quieter and doesn’t clip as badly (it’s only lightly brickwalled); it’s also not as degraded, as it’s the source.

The start of the song (specifically, the crowd intro) has transients up to 20kHz— but once the band starts playing the song, all those transients are gone! It’s not as bad as the MP3 was, but it’s still kinda rough.

The sad thing is, I haven’t even gotten to listen to it yet; I walked back into my bedroom to start working on something, and found one of the fans in my computer was whirring really loudly (usually it’s pretty quiet), I turned the computer off to see if it was a fluke (because something similar happened once before, and that time was a fluke) and I got this BIOS screen instead.
