Been raining nonstop for the past 2 1/2 days here. It's beginning to make me feel a bit blue. So, I decided to dig in my audio archives to FLAC up a few shows that I don't see in circulation much. This is one of them. I hugely enjoying this live version of 'Buck's Boogie', and I thought "I gotta share this one with others too!"

Yep, a bit different than my normal "West Coast","Jazz" and "Reggae" postings, but that's who I am. A seeker of great music, no matter what the genre. BOC, or should I say, Buck, has been a huge influence on my own playing. This is wonderful look into those early years. They were opening up for Alice Cooper on this tour, but sorry, I don't have his set from this night.

A very early show by BOC, and one that has been quite tricky to find until now.

Be warned, this is a nasty sounding recording, but amazing enough, Buck's guitar comes out pretty clear! The performance itself is outstanding! I guess if one gets just get stoned enough, it will be well worth your ear time. Many thanks to the private collector who sent me this.
