Hello there,

now that the feed of the Arlington shows is in circulation, i wonder if someone was able to snap the feed of the S&M2 when it was shown in theaters.

I'm not a big fan of the official edit that was released on blu-ray. I have in mind that the theatrical version was more smooth to watch.

Does anyone know?

Surprised that it hasn't been released yet. I would have loved to see the M72 video premieres as well.

It is different. The ones that have leaked were live feeds, while I assume S&M2 was probably distributed as a normal film, which don’t get eased easily (most early film releases are still CAM sourced).
