Audience recordings from the current tour?
So far i only have come actross 2 audience recording from the whole world magnetic tour, zagreb and melbourne from this year. Is there really so less audience material out there, or does this just don't get here somehow? I'm wondering if anyone has more AUD recordings from this tour.

I created a similar topic over at metpage and no one seem to know about any audience recording... However I know Budapest and Prague(x2) got taped.

Sucks a bit, that the audience taping seemed to get immensily less, once livemet started.

I expect it just because so many fewer people are now interested, as a lot of bootleg collectors (such as myself) only want the best source. People won't take the risk of taping if they don't think anyone will appreciate their work. It is a shame for people like you though

The funny things is that audience recordings sometimes sound actually better than livemet. The melbourne firts night recording is a perfect example for this. Sounds a lot more close to how it actually sounds live, than the livemet version.

Well of course it's closer to the "live" feeling. A very good audience recording can nearly replicate how it actually does sound from that stance in the arena. I've never found a soundboard which captures a good enough live feeling to compare with. Some fidgettings with the recorded surroundings can add to it though but never as a flawless audience boot recorded in an arena or a stadium.

Well, until 2009 we had many-many audience recordings (even different sources of the same show), but somehow this year became very "unproductive".metalandi wrote:Sucks a bit, that the audience taping seemed to get immensily less, once livemet started.

I think that the general feeling is as great as livemet is. Going to a show and taping is just awesome.
